About the Role

We’re seeking a Material Handler to join our Watson elevator operations team at Archer Daniels Midland. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting safe and efficient grain handling operations while maintaining ADM’s commitment to operational excellence and a zero-injury culture.

This position involves material handling, equipment operation, and facility housekeeping in a fast-paced agricultural environment. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient site operations.

What You’ll Do

-
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

- Operate wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and similar mobile equipment

- Utilize computerized systems to process operational data

- Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning equipment and facility areas

- Assist operations, maintenance personnel, and supervisors as required

- Maintain strict adherence to safety, environmental, and operational procedures

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Previous experience operating computers preferred

- Prior experience in maintenance-related disciplines preferred

- Experience operating mobile equipment (forklift, loader, skid steer) considered an asset

Other Requirements

Must pass pre-employment medical and reference checks

- Ability to meet physical demands including prolonged standing/sitting, confined spaces, heights, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted

- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust)

- Commitment to ADM’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

- Relocation assistance is not available

- Candidates must provide their own transportation to and from work.
