Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cheese Maker to join our dairy processing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality fresh cheese products in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic food processing setting, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining product quality throughout the cheesemaking process.
Duties
Oversee the production of fresh cheese curds according to established recipes and procedures
Manually package finished cheese products efficiently and accurately
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor production packaging team for quality control, making adjustments as necessary to meet product specifications and efficiency
Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime
Perform inventory checks and record production data accurately using basic math skills
Assist in maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and documentation requirements
Qualifications
Prior experience in dairy processing,
specifically cheesemaking, is required
Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards is essential
Knowledge of, or experience operating, an HTST is a plus
Basic math skills for measurements, inventory, and record keeping
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
Positive communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards

Pay: $22.60-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 9.0 – 20.0 per week
