Responsibilities

Tasks
Oversee the preparation of engineering technical reports or other documents
Prepare engineering technical reports or other documents
Supervise technologists, technicians and other engineers and scientists
Conduct studies on the properties of materials and characteristics of materials
Read blueprints and drawings
Conduct chemical and physical analytical studies, failure analyses and operational testing, and recommend materials and corrosion control measures
Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
