Associate Creative Director, Art

Position Overview

The Associate Creative Director, Art will play a pivotal role in leading and managing creative projects within our team. This position involves overseeing the artistic direction of projects, ensuring that creative concepts align with client goals, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative thinking.

Target start date: Mid April

Rate range: $80.00 - $90.00 CAD/ hr (T4)

35-40 hours per week, Remote

Duration: 6+ months to FTE

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the artistic direction for various creative projects in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling visual narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Manage and mentor junior creative staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and creativity.
- Work closely with account managers to understand client needs and translate them into effective creative strategies.
- Review and approve designs to ensure they meet brand and compliance standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to inform creative decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in a creative role within an agency setting
- Must have Pharma or Healthcare experience
- Strong understanding of communications, sales engineering, and account management in a commercial lines context.
- Proficient in design software and tools; experience with firmware and embedded systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.




- Proven track record of acquiring and retaining clients through effective creative solutions.
