Role Description

nThis is a contract on-site role for ER and Hospitalist Physicians at Blanche River Health, located in Kirkland Lake, ON. In this position, you will provide timely and high-quality care to patients in the emergency department and/or inpatient units.n

Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams,



overseeing patient treatment plans, and ensuring continuity of care. The role also involves contributing to quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with health care regulations.

Qualifications

- Extensive knowledge and experience in emergency medicine and inpatient care
- Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
- Valid medical license and certification to practice in Ontario
- Ability to manage multiple patients and time-sensitive situations effectively
- Advanced training or certifications in emergency medicine or hospitalist care is an advantage
