Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in providing exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will assist with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen workplace. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry and develop skills in food safety, cooking, and food service operations.

Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and ingredients
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working workplace for all staff

Requirements




Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Knowledge of serving, food preparation, cooking, and food handling best practices
Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Solid teamwork skills and a positive attitude
Basic understanding of meal preparation and food industry operations
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
