AMJ Ottawa is looking for friendly, reliable people with local moving experience moving industry to join Canada's largest coast to coast movers! This position is open to those with industry experience looking for a change of scenery or a fresh start.
Your role as a customer service representative will support all areas of the business, from financials to operations to our sales team. This role is more than answering phones and writing emails. Your attention to detail and dedication will ensure smooth success for all divisions. Being a strong problem solver and a calm voice in times of chaos will reflect in our dedication to providing our clients the best experience possible, and reminding them why they chose us.
You'll be speaking with clients across the Ottawa and Gatineau area, across North America, and across the world.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering Exceptional Client Service; acting as a main point of contact from date of booking to when the last box is delivered to the client, answering their inquiries throughout the move, tracking down delivery information, and all other questions our clients may have
- Coordinating Residential and Commercial Moves; handle the leads, schedule surveys for relocation specialists, manage documentation and financial information, and ensuring the move goes smoothly for both our crews and our clients
- Tracking Down Packages and Shipments; act as a liaison between our delivery partners and their customers to schedule deliveries, give delivery windows, and ensure top service levels
- Procurement Superstar; managing documentation is a key factor,
and your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure all T's are crossed, I's are dotted, and submitted to our parent agent in a timely manner
Key Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages is key and a deal breaker in this position
- Previous experience in customer service or call center roles is preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced workplace
- Proficiency with computers and familiarity with CRM software or similar tools is a plus, specifically the Microsoft Suite of applications
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to connect with diverse populations
- Ability to complete an RCMP-level reliability clearance, cost of which is covered by AMJ
