Fort Erie or St Catherines 12 hour shift What you'll do Supervise and provide guidance and directions to Pharmacy staff Responsible for hiring and managing the performance of all Pharmacy staff Responsible for creating Pharmacy schedules and arranging for vacation and shift coverage Accountable for the financial and operational success of the Pharmacy department Obtain and review budgeted sales and net contribution of the Pharmacy to the Grocery Store Identify and report sales opportunities both internally and externally Review and control costs at all levels within Ensure Pharmacy Operations follow OCP and Company Regulations, Policies and Procedures Ensure medication and behind the counter inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs Attending meetings as assigned Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and pro-active interaction Administer Vaccinations and other activities as legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program (Point-of-Care testing, Prescription Modification and Advancement,



Minor Ailments, etc.) Provide Pharmaceutical Professional Services such as Medication Reviews, Follow-Ups and Minor Ailment prescribing Provide timely and positive resolution to patient’s needs and Doctor’s requests/issues Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary) Provide on-going training for all recent and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, assistants, students, IPG’s) Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.) Provide timely and positive resolution to patient’s needs and Prescriber’s requests/issues What you’ll need: Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, licensed to Provide Patient Care in Ontario (OCP) Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail Pharmacy environment Injection Certification, CPR certification Strong personal computing skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word) as well as working knowledge of HealthWatch Pharmacy computer system #J-18808-Ljbffr
