Summary: To properly process various species of seafood, ensuring maximum use and yield of product.
Consistently maintain a high production pace in all areas of production.
Key Responsibilities Duties include but not limited to: Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
Inspect, grade and sort fish.
Operate forklifts & pallet jacks (in house training provided) Place product in containers or on conveyers.
Communicate quality issues to supervisors and leads.
Weigh and clean product.
Sanitize work area and equipment.
Place product in proper packaging as instructed.
Assist with workspace, plant clean-up and upkeep.
Adhere to all sanitation and product quality policies.
Maintain plant safety at all times.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
What you bring to Pacific Seafood Education and Experience Required: None Preferred:
Prior experience with food processing equipment Prior food safety experience Prior experience in a processing workplace Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
