Personal Support Worker
Timiskaming Home Support provides services that support the well-being of the elderly and adults with physical disabilities in the District of Timiskaming to allow them to remain in the comfort of their home. Job Duties
Provide home assistance with everyday home management tasks which can include;
- Assist with all things related to personal care as assigned
- Activities of Daily Living
- Provide support for client transfers
- General duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Diploma or Completed 1 Year Nursing Program
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ability to work independently
- Exceptional time management skills
- Compassionate, patient and reliable
- French considered an asset
- Proven ability to uphold Professional Conduct
- Registered PSW with Health & Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority considered an asset
Compensation
- Permanent Part-Time or Casual Part-Time Positions Available
- Shifts are 7am to 2pm and 2pm to 9pm (Commitment to every other weekend)
- 20-24 hours weekly (No guarantee of hours) Hourly Rate of $26.15 (plus weekend premium)
- Accumulated milage and travel time
