Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Painter/Labourer to join our construction and maintenance team. This role involves performing various painting and labour tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality results. Prior experience in construction/residential painting, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in multiple areas of construction and maintenance while contributing to diverse projects.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on residential, commercial, or industrial sites
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and schematics to determine project specifications
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during various tasks such as rigging or carpentry work
- Assist with demolition, surface preparation, and cleanup activities on job sites
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards




- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure customer satisfaction

Experience

- Prior experience in construction/residential painting or restoration projects is highly desirable
- Knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial painting techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for project planning
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools common in construction work
- Experience with rigging, carpentry, caulking, and working with schematics is a plus
- Solid time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions

Pay: $17.20-$30.96 per hour
