nPosition: Experienced Structural Steel Fittern

Rate: $30.00 - $38.00/hr ( Rate will increase upon completion of probationary period)

Fulltime Position: Steady days and overtime as required

Experienced Structural Fitters are responsible for fabricating, assembling and fitting structural steel while maintaining quality and accuracy in accordance with the drawings provided.

n

Main responsibilities will include

nFabricating, Assembling and Fitting Structural Steel; Rig, hoist and move materials to and from workstation;n

Lay out reference points and symbols on the structural steel according to the blueprint; Assemble and fit metal sections and plates using tack welding,



bolting or other methods; Set up and operate various equipment such as torches, drills, various clamping tools, squares, disc grinders and other hand held tools.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years in the industry

n

All members of Noront’s team are expected to ensure protected work practices, wear appropriate PPE at all times; and have good communication skills.

n

Able to lift 55lbs.
