Relief Pharmacist – Northern BC (Full-Time Contract)

We are seeking a community pharmacist to provide full-time relief coverage for a busy retail pharmacy situated in Northern British Columbia. This role offers stable hours, attractive compensation, and a high likelihood of ongoing employment following the initial contract term.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate, safe, and efficient prescription dispensing
- Deliver patient-focused counseling and clinical services, including medication reviews and authorized injections
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain seamless operations and superior customer service
- Comply with all provincial and federal regulations, professional standards, and company policies
- Oversee precise documentation, inventory management, and third-party billing procedures

Position Details:

Location: Northern British Columbia (regional community setting, not a remote fly-in location)
Duration: March 2 through April, with strong potential for extension
Hours: Up to 50 hours weekly,



including occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Compensation: Up to $100 per hour, based on location, qualifications, and experience
Environment: Well-equipped community pharmacy with a supportive team and established workflows

Qualifications:

- Valid pharmacist license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
- Previous community or retail pharmacy experience is preferred
- Robust clinical knowledge, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail
- Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Dedication to the full assignment duration, with openness to consider possible extension
