We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Golf Course Turf Labourer. As a vital member of our grounds maintenance crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall health and aesthetics of our golf course. Responsibilities:

n

•tAssist with the maintenance and upkeep of golf course grounds, including mowing, edging, and trimming grass

n

•tOperate a variety of hand and power tools, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers, in a safe and efficient manner

n

•tOperate machinery such as mowers, utility vehicles and other turf equipment in a safe and efficient manner

n

•tPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as aerating, fertilizing, and watering turf areas

n

•tAssist with landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, and weeding flower beds and shrubbery

n

•tMaintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas

n

•tFollow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working setting

n





•tCollaborate with other members of the turf maintenance team to complete tasks and achieve department goals

n

•tPerform other duties as assigned by the Turf Maintenance Supervisor

n

Qualifications:

n

•tPrevious experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred, but not required

n

•tStrong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in various climate conditions including extreme heat and steady rain and cold weather

n

•tAbility to operate lawn care equipment and power tools safely and effectively

n

•tAttention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

n

•tAbility to work well independently as well as part of a team

n

•tFlexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

n

•tValid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the golf course

n

•tWHMIS Training will be provided

n

•tCompany Health & Safety training is mandatory and will be provided

n
