This position provides leadership and guidance to regional operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and fostering a strong safety culture. You will act as a liaison between national health and safety programs and regional operations, lead audits, support emergency response planning, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.nnSite Locations: The position is primarily based in Abbotsford, BC. You will have oversight of our three regional locations: Abbotsford, Pitt Meadows, and North Vancouver. nnWhat You’ll Do: nnEnsure compliance with government regulations and company standards across regional branches.nServe as a resource for leadership, Joint Health & Safety Committees, and employees to promote safety culture.nGuide and participate in EHS risk assessments and certifications (ISO Standards, Responsible Distribution Canada).nLead emergency response planning and act as regional technical advisor for ERAPnConduct and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.nDeliver EHS training programs (New Hire Orientation, TDG, WHMIS,



etc.).nLead EHS audits and assist operations in addressing findings.nMaintain knowledge of federal, provincial, and local health and safety regulations and emerging requirements.nOther duties as required.nn nQualifications and Preferred Experience: nn7+ years of health and safety oversight for multiple locations, ideally in chemical or related industriesnBachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or equivalent experience.nThorough familiarity with OSHA and provincial equivalents for chemical facilities.nDemonstrated ability to manage compliance, conduct audits, and develop training programs.nStrong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.nnnWhat We Offer: nnPaid training and development programs at every level.nCareer advancement and mentoring opportunities.nCompetitive salary and comprehensive advantages (medical, dental, extended health, life insurance).nEmployee Resource Networks advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion.nnnPay and Benefits:The annual expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - 120,000.
