Job Description

Customer 360 program provides a means to consolidate, maintain and disseminate customer data to downstream systems including those used by the Contact Centre and Customer Portal and is therefore pivotal to many CX initiatives.

This role will assist Director Data Quality by focusing on ensuring a high degree of data quality both independently and by working with support teams from IT and Business.

The ideal candidate will recognize that data is a valuable asset and plays an important role in our business strategy. They will possess superior analytical skills, strong business acumen, flexibility and a strong desire to contribute to the overall customer experience.

Key Accountabilities

Work with Director Data Quality to implement effective metrics tracking and reporting
Set up processes to ensure validity and data integrity in multiple databases
Analyze data quality metrics and monitors and provide assessments of its quality and limitations
Work with IT teams to resolve customer data issues and anomalies as they arise
Provide technical guidance to junior team member
Support Steady State and Project teams by providing in depth knowledge of the data and business rules
Assist the Quality Assurance team in development of test cases
Conduct User Acceptance Testing for Customer MDM and Salesforce applications
Maintain data issues log and participate in prioritization sessions
Participate in development of the Divisional Business Glossary
Participate in and/or lead Data Quality resolution workgroups
Independently undertake data quality initiatives and ad-hoc requests as required
Other duties and tasks as assigned by the immediate superior

Excellent technical and analytical skills with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a business and/or data analyst
Post-secondary education or equivalent industry experience
Proficiency creating SQL queries, use of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
Strong analytical skills with the ability to discover patterns in data and figure out puzzling data relationships
High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly
Demonstrated strength in taking action on ideas and opportunities before being asked or forced to by events
Ability to exercise flexibility and operate independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to articulate complex problems and concepts to a business audience
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, IBM MDM or Allsight solutions
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and able to work under pressure
Positive attitude towards accepting additional challenges and assignments
