An experienced sales professional with proven experience in the multi-media field (video production, web casting, on-line learning, web development etc,) with existing client relationships that can be transferred.
The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter who will enjoy working in a smaller organization where rewards are directly linked to results.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Executive, the ideal candidate will be responsible for generating profitable business by developing long term customers from assigned accounts throughout the greater metropolitan Toronto area.
Specific duties include maintaining regular call frequency in order to make recommendations regarding the company’s services; assessing potential volume and factors related to pricing; discussing quotations, acquiring and/or clarifying contracts; developing order and delivery schedules; placing orders and coordinating them with production schedules; presenting new products and services as they are discovered; forecasting customers’ needs; collecting market information; developing and maintaining a partnership relationships with corporate decision makers as well as key site personnel; keeping aware of customers’ ever-changing needs and making recommendations to the Sales and Marketing Executive accordingly. In addition, the Account Director will handle complaints and co-ordinate service requirements, and perform other duties likely to produce sales, as assigned.
The Successful Candidate:
Must have a college degree or equivalent, some technical and practical training in the audio-visual, multimedia, post production area.
Must have two or more years selling experience in the communication or broadcast industry.
May have work experiences in video/broadcast production which would be a definite benefit.
Must be a self-starter
Must demonstrate determination, enthusiasm and be persuasive.
Should demonstrate creative thinking and have an ability to visualize the client’s needs and deliver a posible solution.
