This position will be a fast paced, exciting, challenging role which will be responsible for assisting with marketing functions and written communications to both internal and external stakeholders and audiences. The use of technology and social media will be a major part of this role. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with all departments within the dealerships; gaining and providing valuable input to be used in marketing and communication strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy


- Execute the marketing strategy developed by Palladino Auto Group Marketing Team (promotions in store, online presence, digital campaigns, email campaigns etc.)
- Monitor and report on google ad words performance to management team on a bi-weekly basis
- Schedule meeting with General Manager at the beginning of each month to go over programs and new ideas for Facebook/website
- Design and create promotional materials as required* Mail/ e-mail campaigns
- Website banners/ videos
- Digital/ print billboards
- Infographics for used vehicles, banner overlays for used vehicle images
- Various in-dealership signage and sales support materials

Websites


- Assist with overall design, functionality and performance of dealership website
- Update and maintain Staff Page
- Update OEM promotions for sales and service on New Vehicle Specials’ page and homepage
- Create content for special requested pages and campaigns
- Report on site performance to management team on a bi-weekly basis
- Monitor merchandising of all vehicles on the website ensuring consistent photos, descriptions, taglines and logos

Social Media


- Design, create and post custom images for various promotions, incentives, contests and infographics at each dealership
- Create, edit and post custom videos for promotions, contests and features on social media
- Engage with customer comments through “likes” and/or responding to messages
- Answer all messenger messages as quickly as possible and gather information to pass along to respective departments if necessary

Reporting


- Monitor performance of all marketing campaigns and make adjustments based on findings through our website and BDC reporting
- Report highlights, suggestions and ROI to management team on a weekly/ monthly basis
- Measuring performance (i.e. Leads, phone calls, website traffic, floor traffic) of each channel at each dealership
- Monthly performance reviews with third parties (Auto Trader and Kijiji)

Miscellaneous


- Being a resource for GMs, GSM and UCMs to assist with support and technical issues
- Facilitating the creation of business cards, and consistent email signatures for all employees in the group
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Attending any charitable events that the dealership supports
- Gathering photos and video of any organization and events that we support

QUALIFICATIONS


- College or University graduate from Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related program
- Must have experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro or Related Video Production software)
- Experience with Google Ad Words and Google Analytics is considered an asset
- Basic understanding of Wordpress and CSS Websites
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships easily
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
