Enterprise is looking for a creative services and graphic design professional to join our Toronto office. A key part of this role will be providing creative support to our team of public affairs and public relations professionals, ranging from hands-on design work to assisting with strategy development, on a variety of projects for top-tier Canadian corporations, government agencies, and consumer brands.
Bring awesome ideas and creative design work to our creative services team.
Design and produce compelling materials for projects requiring simple to complex graphics and animations — with first-rate use of typography, photography and illustrative or other graphic design elements.
Create designs that can work across multiple media from print to digital.
Handle a project from conceptualization to final product.
Interface appropriately and professionally with senior members of the firm and clients when required.
Technical skills and other requirements
Strong understanding of today’s digital-first landscape.
Up-to-date on current design trends and practices.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite particularly: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Strong illustration skills.
Proven skills in typography, layout, composition and colour theory.
Ability to balance brand guidelines and creativity.
Capable of producing high quality creative assets under pressure and strict deadlines.
Excellent collaborative skills for working in a team environment, including the ability to convey graphic design recommendations in a productive manner.
Experience with production of high-quality presentations using Keynote and PowerPoint.
Understanding of print and digital production.
Understanding of UI/UX best practices.
Have a strong desire to learn, try new things and problem solve.
Comfortable working independently or with a larger team.
Self-starter with strong work ethic, able to manage own time and take initiative.
Be able to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
Strong written skills.
Comfortable in both Mac and Windows environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Three to six years of previous professional experience.
A college or university degree (or equivalent experience) in graphic design or a related field.
Basic familiarity in HTML/CSS and basic website production.
Understanding of AODA and design for accessibility.
Video editing and animation skills. (Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
Knowledge of Sketch.
Knowledge of communications, current events and politics.
