Administrative Assistant I

Reporting to the General Manager,

the Administrative Assistant will contribute to the overall operation of the facility’s office through daily administrative tasks. In addition to the responsibilities below, this position will be the first point of contact for producer/customer calls and redirect inquiries to the appropriate resource or Manager when needed.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Grain Delivery Payments to customers
Crop Input transactions including participation with inventory controls
Assist with creation of grain contracts
Maintain filing for all documentation per auditing standards
Assist with Safety/HACCP documentation
Perform exceptional customer service & reception
General Office duties including maintaining supplies

Minimum 1 year of experience in an office/clerical/administrative role is preferred
Knowledge of or previous experience in the agricultural industry (an asset)
Exceptional Customer service and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Decision making skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
