In your future role as Payment Consultant you will be working within the GBS Cloud Application Innovation practice, which focus on digital payments transformation.

The Payment Consultant develops and maintains a vision/roadmap for the product/project and is responsible for communicating that vision to the scrum team. You are responsible for the product and product features from concept to End of Life (EOL).You work with architects, product marketing and development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release. You are responsible for the design, usability, quality and delivery of a product or feature. As an SME you are a key decision maker on priorities and design decisions, and will work to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle. You understand both the engineering and business side of the product release and are ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Work with project managers and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
Manage Dev Ops team to ensure system up-time
Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams
Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product
Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases
Participate / facilitate technical meetings and discussions with existing and prospective clients
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for backlog prioritization
Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
12+ years experience in designing, building, and implementing Payment solutions, preferably large and complex application such as Payment Hub , Payment Engines, CSM
Worked on at least two of applications such as FTM, GPP, Clear2Pay, PEP+, SEI Parago applications, Applications from ACI, Fiserv
Worked on NPP, Instant Payment, Real time payments, Payment initiation and clearing and Settlement
Sound knowledge of SWIFT and ISO20022
Significant experience in business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business requirements
Prior Product Owner/Payment SME experience is required
In-depth knowledge of Payment and Banking, Agile process and principles
Exhibit strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and business acumen skills
Passionate commitment to quality and success
Ability to manage internal and external software engineers
Experience managing Dev Ops teams
Experience working in an distributed environment
