The Technical Training Specialist will assist the Technical Services & Training Manager, the Technical Services Department, and the National Service Training Manager with process improvements, analytics and web-based training format conversion. Reporting directly to the Senior Administrator – Technical Services, of our Customer Care and Aftersales division, the Technical Training Specialist will work closely with the managers, analyst and developers in several Customer Care & Aftersales departments. This position is a true cross-functional learning opportunity. An analytics skill set is required for this position in order to assist with outlining common themes with multiple data sets.
The Technical Training Specialist will also be heavily involved with converting technical web-based training videos from FLASH to HTML5 in both English and French languages.
Liaise with various Customer Care & Aftersales departments for process improvement. Convert current web-based technical training courses to a supported video format in both English and French languages. Support the technical training development team with supporting course material and development. Provide insights pertaining to various data sets and provide recommendations and trending analysis.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication & presentation skills.
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
Technical/Mechanical knowledge (preferred)
Bilingual in French language (preferred)
Highly adaptable and able to work independently and in a team environment.
Fundamental computer skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Catapult video software and Adobe Captivate.
