Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP Manual Tester with experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual testing of SAP SCM modules , ensuring seamless system functionality, data integrity, and business process accuracy. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP SCM processes and the ability to work in an Agile environment .
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing on SAP SCM
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Validate end-to-end SAP SCM workflows , ensuring system accuracy, integration, and performance.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UAT, and system testing in SAP environments.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business analysts to resolve defects and improve system quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA, HP ALM, or any test management tool .
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between SAP and external systems.
- Support test planning, test strategy creation, and risk assessment for SAP implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
- Validate batch jobs, master data updates,
and interface testing between SAP and third-party applications.
- Provide detailed test reports, defect analysis, and test execution results to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Manual Testing with a strong focus on SCM modules .
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes , logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
- Experience in test case design, execution, defect tracking, and root cause analysis .
- Proficiency in using test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or QC .
- Good knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
- Ability to analyze SAP IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and integration scenarios .
- Experience in working in Agile/Scrum methodologies .
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- ISTQB Certification (Preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding with SAP S/4HANA testing .
- Exposure to SAP applications and UI testing .
- Basic knowledge of test automation tools (like Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or Selenium).
- Understanding of SAP Transport Management (TM), Global Trade Services (GTS), or Ariba .
- Exposure with EDI and middleware integrations .
