Job Description
Overview
An Ideal person who would bring in functional IT SAP HCM payroll experience with a proven track record in implementing projects and Production Support. The candidate should have vast experience in Canada gross to net payroll including tax, tax reporting, legal changes, financial posting, third-party remittance, Various private and public benefit plans, and Garnishment. The candidate should be well-versed in modifying, and creating payroll rules /sub-schemas for both payroll and time evaluation.
The candidate should work as an SME among IT, Business, and Vendors. Work directly with the vendor support team to ensure SLAs are met. Independently resolve issues related to SAP payroll using IMG and SAP best practices. Review FD/FMD/TD/Configuration rationale. Engage with IT leads and business as needed for pursuit efforts. Engage with delivery teams for new projects and applications that need to be transitioned to baseline support. Engage NA IT and NA payroll/finance business teams to resolve issues related to the NA payroll system.

Responsibilities
- Extensive experience in Payroll/Time Schemas and Rules ( read/modify/create)
- Extensive experience in functions and operations
- Extensive experience in financial posting that includes user exits, ALE/IDOC.
- Extensive experience in US and Canadian taxation including BSI
- Extensive experience in garnishment, Benefits, time management, and CATS
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 -15 years of SAP HCM Payroll support/projects
- Fluency in Spoken and written English language
- Ability to lead a team and projects
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and other stakeholders
- A Team player
- A problem solver
