Job Summary
The





Specialist,Global Mobilityis responsible forsupporting Global Mobility in various tasks for the smooth execution of the entire relocation process,taxand immigration process for expatriates, working closely with team members and service providers to ensure success and customer satisfaction.

The position supports the Manager,Global Mobility of all relocations, encompassing addressing queries and finding solutionsfor issues raised by Human Resources (HR), relocation vendors and transferees.

Main Responsibilities
Global Mobility
– 65%
Support transferees and their family members on all aspects of the transferee's relocation with arrangementspertaining tothe sale or buy-out of residential real estate, leases, transportation of household goodsandpurchase or rental of a residence at the new location,in accordance withthe organization's relocation policy and cost guidelines
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support various CN stakeholders on relocation-related issues (e.g.,Human Resources (HR), Operation, Finance)
Collaborate and communicate directly with the transferees toidentifyissues related to the transferee's relocation and find solutions for a seamless experiencein accordance withthe organization's relocation policy




Makes recommendations on how to manage exceptions and potential amendments to the relocation policy
Monitor and make recommendations to improve internal processes
Prepare reports for management
Ensuring data accuracy and keep internal database updated with all the relevant information and documents

Participates in portfolios strategies by proposing ideas and suggestnew approaches(e.g.,vendor management, application, and review of the relocation policy, adapting freedom tooperate)

Collaborate with vendors to ensure proper application of processes and policies
Collaborate and communicate directly with vendors to understand transferees' needs and provide guidanceregardingthe organization's relocation programs
Work closely with vendors to have their issues resolved as early as possible by liaising withappropriate partiesat CN
Support the Manager,Global Mobility in the implementation of new vendors
Lead initiative related to building process related to payment of invoices with new vendors

Work alongside tax and immigration providers foraccuratereporting and compliance
Participates in the cross-border and international tax protection process including the year-end preparation of income tax reports and tax settlements

Prepare necessary documents for the distribution of any move-related funds such as equity advances, allowances, and bonuses
Ensure year-end process deadlines aremetand payroll entries are completed
Ensure monthly and yearly reconciliations for internationals, cross-border relocations, and intermittent travellers
Working Conditions
The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines and handle pressure.

Requirements
Experience
Global Mobility
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
Experience in dealing with international tax matters*
*Any experience for these above would be considered as an asset
Education/Certification/Designation




Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources(HR), Business Administration, or equivalent

Specialist,Global Mobility contributes to an energetic team to ensure that CN's high potential talent has a smooth relocation experience, which in turn supports the employees' and company's success.

As the main point of contact for the relocation vendors and first point of escalation for the transferees, thepositionmakes regular recommendations to the

Manager, Global Mobility

Relocation and potential amendments to the relocation policy, services, and processes.

Moreover, the roleapproves the non-executive and high-level exceptions to the policy and reviews the vendor invoices.

Level of Interaction/Influence
The

Specialist,Global Mobilityinteracts with individuals internal and external to CN.

Within the organization, the incumbent liaises with Payroll, HR, Information and Technology (I&T;), and internal clients acrossthe company.

Outside of CN,



the role communicates with various external relocation vendors.

Employees Supervised/Organizational Structure
The

Specialist,Global Mobilityreports to the Manager,Global Mobilityand has no supervisory responsibility.
