Security Mentoring Program Manager, Sr./Manager

Professionals in this career supervise mentor programs for various industries, organizations, agencies, or educational institutions. The Independent Professional Manager /Sr. Manager works with client management staff to determine the goals and needs of InfoGov.com mentor programs. They train mentors and match them with designated companies or professionals. It is often also necessary to keep records of program progress and report this progress to client and InfoGov.com supervisors or other groups.

The Independent Professional Manager /Sr. Manager supports and encourages the professional development of our clients and provides active guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Career Responsibilities

1. Assesses prospective and assigned customer’s current and potential needs, determining appropriate InfoGov.com and Information Governance industry research, training, solutions, and services.
2. Develops and implements strategies and business plans through understanding the client's business model, planning, and decision-making channels.
3. Positions and illustrates alternative ways of creating the real value of InfoGov.com's offerings for clients through assessing their problems or opportunities.
4. Builds customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organizational business objectives and goals.
5. Understands and influences a wide range of customer stakeholders while acting as industry expert to the customer.
6.



Partners with key customer decision maker(s) to structure business strategy as it relates to customer requirements.
7. Ensures frequent communication to enable superior customer satisfaction and to keep customer educated on emerging industry trends.
8. Continuously prospects to develop net new clients, as well as expand existing relationships.
9. Maintains a consistent ‘pipeline’ that enables meeting and exceeding quota attainment.
10. Responsible for final account sales and revenue growth through leading negotiation process and ensuring an acceptable outcome.
11. Responsible for identifying, selling, and closing new areas of opportunity.
12. The Independent Professional Manager /Sr. Manager will work to collaborate with the customer on net new opportunities.
13. Negotiate pricing and SLA as appropriate.

May be required to perform customer needs and service analysis.

Key Skills, Requirements And Competencies

1. Strong background and knowledge of strategic account management, sales process, and solution selling.
2. Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.com systems.
3. Must meet and exceed key activity metrics.
4. Ability to translate customer needs into solution requirements through creating powerful value propositions.
5. Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
6. Strong interpersonal, planning, analytical skills, and business acumen.
7. Ability to team effectively at all levels of InfoGov.com and customer personnel.
8. Self-motivated and self-directed.
9. Proven ability to meet and exceed quota targets.
10. Ability to present to senior level management.
11. Negotiation skills.
12. Account/relationship management.
13. Total travel: up to 25%.

Education / Experience





4-year College Degree & 5-7 years experience.

Certifications / Credentials

The ideal candidate should possess or plan to complete any of the following: CSPM, CISSP, CISM.

Technical Experience

Candidate experience with the following types of platforms is preferable: Data Protection, Data Discovery, Data Classification, Public Key Infrastructure, and others.
