Registered Nurse (RN) - Bancroft Inpatient Unit / Emergency Room - (BOD-864)

Minimum Requirements

1. Current Certificate of Registration in good standing, or eligible for registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
2. Current certification in ACLS, BCLS or CPR, or proof of enrolment in a recertification course. You will be asked to provide a copy of your valid certificate at the time of hire/transfer.
3. Current ACLS Certification or obtain within 6 months of the commencement of the position.
4. Completion of Coronary Care 1 or equivalent (ex. QHC Cardio Concepts) or obtain within 6 months of the commencement of the position.
5. Minimum 1-year recent acute care experience in a medical/surgical department within the last 2 years,



or 6 consistent months’ acute care experience in an ED environment (for example – transition pool or NGGI), or final consolidation within an ED environment.
6. Able to accompany patients on transfers (i.e. ambulance transfers).
7. Evidence of continuing professional development (please list most recent 3 on application).
8. Capable of coping with a physically demanding workload. (Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) available to review).
