Business Address: Mt Lehman Rd, Abbotsford, BC V4X 2N3 Position: Automotive Glass Installer Helper Number of Vacancies: 1 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Year around Wage: $26.50/hour for 35 hours per week Job Duties: Load and unload materials and prepare work areas for the auto glass technician. Assist in removing all dirt, foreign matter, and loose glass from damaged areas.
Select and prepare appropriate tools, safety equipment, and parts as required for a specific project or as per auto glass technician instructions Assist during installation or glass replacement of windshields and car windows Obtain windshields or windows from stock,
as instructed by the auto glass technician Assist in adding channeling strips around edges of glass frames to weatherproof windows or to prevent rattling. Keep work areas organized during windshield installation and clean up after the installation. Perform other related duties, whenever required Job Requirements: Some Secondary School Education will be an asset.
No experience is required, and on-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate. Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks. Must be physically fit to handle job-related tasks
