Position Details:

Position: Drywall Installer
Number of positions: 3
Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $34.62 per hour
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Work location(s): Candidates are required to work at various job locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC).
Job Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings,
using hand tools and paneling.
Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
Supervise other construction workers.
Position Requirements
Completion of Secondary School
Completion of a 3-4 years apprenticeship program in a relevant trade or a Minimum of 3 years of experience in the trade is required.
Ability to communicate in English
