Senior Analyst Supplier Risk Management

How does the role impact the organization?

Raymond James Ltd. is seeking a Senior Analyst Supplier Risk Management to work in our Vancouver office.

Reporting to the AVP Risk Management RJL & Chief Risk Officer Trust, the Senior Analyst Supplier Risk Management is responsible for the reporting and awareness promotion of Raymond James Supplier Risk Framework as it translates in Canada.



The role is responsible for developing reports and acting as the liaison to internal business units in the creation and administration of supplier risk management requirements and practices. This role is new to the firm and requires a proactive client-focused approach, while simultaneously building and maintaining strong relationships with related partners and vendors.

What will your role be responsible for?

- Significantly contribute to the monitoring and execution of the Enterprise Supplier Risk Management program as it applies to the Canadian This includes, Investment dealer, Wealth Management, Equity Capital Market, Insurance, Charitable Foundation, Financial Planning and Trust.
- Lead the analysis of the organization’s supplier risk profile and develop mitigating controls to identified risks.
- Facilitate decisions on the level of risk the company is willing to accept
- Develop monitoring and reporting metrics detailing risks risk appetite statements;
- Work closely with the branches, financial advisors, business units, vendors, parent company,



Canadian subsidiaries and corporate services department.
- Establish strong relationships throughout the firm and provide guidance on supplier risk related issues and enterprise supplier risk management framework;
- Implement enterprise supplier risk documentation requirements as applicable to the local firm
- Assist internal stakeholders with the completion of procurement request forms;
- Track the completion of exit strategies and performance monitoring documentation;
- Follow up with the business and vendors for outstanding due diligence documentation as part of the vendor risk assessment process.;
- Review and document findings as identified in SOC2 Type 2, CSAE 3416, ISO27001 and other audit reports;
- Assist with the locating and centralizing vendor contracts;




- Proactively reach out to business units and/or vendors for outstanding due diligence documentation;
- Identifying opportunities for contract consolidation
- Tracking and closing exceptions related to vendor risks;
- Other duties as assigned.

What do we expect from you?

To qualify for this opportunity, you must possess:

- A degree in business with a focus in risk management, economics or finance is required;




- 5+ years of recent Supplier Risk Management experience at a large CIRO, Security Commission or an OSFI regulated financial institution.
- Expert in data visualization and reporting using Microsoft office tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management program management.
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills so as to identify and resolve diverse, complex and ambiguous issues in a timely and practical manner;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure;
- Able to build strong relationships through respect and authenticity, and to collaborate with a diverse network of business partners;
- Established professional values including sound judgment, integrity, going the extra mile for clients, and being tenaciously driven to achieve results; and
- Able to work with minimal supervision and direction.

Asset Qualifications:





- Knowledge of Visual Basic for applications and /or SQL is an asset.
- Supplier Risk Management certification (equivalent) or working towards one.

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $80-000-90,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
