Job Description Responsible to validate that all migrated websites have been fulfilled according to details provided on the supplied documentation. QA will be performed on various devices (i.e. desktop and mobile). They are also responsible for ensuring that various online products and their features are working in accordance with expected functionality. If inconsistencies are discovered, the incumbent is responsible to troubleshoot, resolve and/or triage to the appropriate channel. Key Areas of Responsibility: Validate that online products have been delivered and set-up in accordance with specifications outlined on the supplied documentation and that the functionality is working according to expectations.
A review of the purchased on-line products will be completed by navigating the customer’s site on the front and back-end. Once discrepancies have been identified, this position is the primary contact for coordinating the steps to a resolution. Perform defect investigative work as required. Responsible to identify discrepancy trends, recurring issues and escalate findings to the Project Manager. Assist in analyzing if root cause of discrepancies and escalate per the escalation process. Document findings in order to provide accurate metrics for KPI reports. Required Skills Strong communication skills Ability to multi-task Ability to prioritize according to importance Ability to work independently Bilingual Required Experience Post Secondary Diploma 2-3 years relative experience in a Quality Control type position Experience with automated functional testing of web applications Experience with load testing and testing APIs Familiarity with Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Familiarity with Test Case management tools & JIRA for ticket management. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Strong organization, analytic and problem-solving skills Internet skills & various computer programs knowledge such as Excel and Word are required. Self motivated individual capable of working in a team environment. Experience with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android Knowledge of current testing methodologies and industry-standard best practices an asset Ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Job Location Toronto, Ontario, Canada Position Type Full-Time/Regular Salary 39,768.00 - 66,280.00 CAD
