Description of Services:

Botsford is looking to expand its Regulatory Change Project delivery team with a focus on G20 and Mifid project Delivery. This group partners with multiple Major Canadian Banking clients to support new and ongoing initiatives such as:

Mifid II Platform migration and Mifid III Gap Assessment

Our Botsford Consulting team helps support our clients through the entire lifecycle of the regulation and/or business initiative (impact assessment, requirements creation, technical analysis, testing, etc.)

Must Haves:

- Capital Markets Regulatory experience within Mifid II
- Gap Assessment and Impact Assessment Exp
- Basic UAT testing experience in Capital Markets setting and Business Requirements Documentation experience
- Good understanding of OTC derivatives products (any asset class is acceptable)
- Experience with SQL


Have overall responsibility to plan and manage client engagements, lead the day-to-day operation and execution of services as well as contribute to business development activities by

- Managing the planning and delivery of multiple client engagements ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of quality work in line with client expectations

- Taking responsibility for large scale transformation projects across front, middle and back office functions
- Developing trusted client relationships at the Leadership levels, and managing engagement teams of consultants/practitioners
- Identifying business development opportunities and contributing to the writing and submission of proposals and bid documents
- Being known as a trusted advisor within Capital Markets
- Motivating your team and creating a culture of inclusion. You will provide day-to-day guidance and actionable coaching to your team


- 4+ years of combined Financial Services industry and consulting experience
- Proven track record of building and growing client relationships at senior levels.
- Experience across multiple functions in Financial services

- Ability to manage client projects and associated team members
- Core Consulting Skills and competencies
- Proven track record in supporting practice development, business development and people development.
