The Summer Sales Intern is responsible for covering the sales calls or territory of any full time employee who is on vacation. Through this role, they will receive exposure to the entirety of the business as they will be providing support for the field sales team. When there are no vacant routes to cover, the intern will be tasked with merchandising product in the stores we service, as well as special projects to help increase sales and grow revenue. This role will give the intern great experience with how the CPG beverage industry operates as well as increase their selling skill as they will be tasked to sell in programs, racks, displays, as well as new products. This role requires the Summer Intern to have a vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work
- Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years
- Must have current vehicle liability insurance
- 1 year exp. working in grocery, retail, sales, or related field preferred
- Currently enrolled in a business, marketing, or related program an asset
