Notes: This role will be 100% remote across the province of Ontario.

What will you be doing in this role?

Provide prompt response to verbal and written inquiries from Advisors

Interact with external clients (Advisors) or their assistants

Maintain high level of confidentiality working on sensitive information Inputting data with consistent accuracy from Insurance Carriers documents into documents that the Advisors will deliver to their Client.

Organize and prioritize workload; manage multiple tasks, deliverables and projects

Review required forms and data provided by the Advisor for quoting their client’s group plan

Send “Requests for Proposal documents” to Insurance carriers for a quotation

Prepare comparative marketing analysis when all the Insurance carrier quotes are received

Provide the Advisor with all the required documents for their Client’s “Marketing Results” meeting

When Advisor sells the new group plan, coordinate Advisor’s required contracting for Insurance Carrier

Renewal analysis and doing rate negotiations with the Insurance Carrier’s Account Executive and obtaining cost containment and plan enhancement options

Provide the Advisor with all the required documents for their Client’s “Renewal” meeting

Actively promote the back-office support offering

Regularly seek possible group plans that can be moved to Financial Horizons

Maintain client files and database

Assist Director of Operations with other various tasks, as required.

What qualifications are required?

Relevant Experience and Education Completion of high-school.

Relevant College and/or University education would be considered a definite asset

Proficient computer aptitude in a windows environment Intermediate knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

CEBS an asset and recommended

What should your experience look like?

Experience working in a similar capacity within a team environment

Knowledge of the Group Benefits insurance industry, is a definite asset
