Under the direction of the Manager of Occupational Health and Safety, the Occupational Health Clerk will provide clerical support to the nursing and safety functions of the Occupational Health and Safety department.



Major Functions and Responsibilities



- Provide clerical support to the Occupational Health portfolio including but not limited to: data entry, appointment scheduling, document, presentation and spreadsheet creation and revision, record maintenance and minute taking.



Required Skills



- Intermediate computers skills using Microsoft Office Suite.

- Effective communication skills (verbal, written and listening).

- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.



- High disposition to collaborative working relationships.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.



Required Experience



- 1-2 years experience using an electronic health record system

- Experience in immunization and or public health setting desirable.



Minimum Qualifications



- High school diploma.

- Unit clerk or Medical Office Assistant program completion preferred.



Other Information



- The current shift indicated is subject to change due to operational requirements.

- Please note that this is a temporary position, ending on or before September 30, 2023
