Arrayus (is a medical technology company developing a non-invasive focused ultrasound therapy platform that will revolutionize the standard of care for patients across a broad range of oncological applications. We are a highly collaborative, result-driven company with a strong momentum of growth. We currently have the opportunity for an Electronics Designer to join our team. In this role you will be an integral part of the electrical department, responsible for the design and implementation of the electronics developed for the products at Arrayus. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, passionate for problem solving and developing medical devices, and has practical experience in electronics design and FPGA development.
What you will be responsible for: All design phases of electrical components including prototyping, schematic design, PCB layout, implementation, and testing. FPGA hardware and code development, testing, and implementation. Developing embedded firmware and automating test scripts for custom hardware. Creating, maintaining, and executing technical documentation and test plans. Collaborating with other design teams (mechanical, regulatory, software, ultrasound) for product development and compliance with relative medical standards. Working with external suppliers to set up and streamline manufacturing of electrical components. What makes you qualified: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5+ years experience in electronic design and development. Mixed signal circuit design experience, including communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, ethernet, and USB. FPGA development, synthesis, and debugging, with a focus on high-speed data transmission. Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic design and PCB layout. Demonstrated knowledge of embedded code using C/C++.
Experience with hardware test tools including DMMs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc. What puts you ahead: Knowledge of standards including IEC 60529, 60601, and 61000 for medical device compliance. Experience developing high-speed circuits ((100 MHz). Familiarity with Altera FPGAs and development using Quartus Prime, Modelsim, or similar. Experience working within an ISO 13486 Quality Management System. Knowledge of testing and certification of electrical equipment, particularly medical devices. Experience working in MRI and/or non-ferrous environments. Proficiency with Solidworks or similar CAD tools. Experience developing technical documentation and reports. Proficiency in soldering/reworking of PCBs.
