The Business Development Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations with the main objective to increase sales in Northern Alberta. Working closely with the Sales Representatives in the region, the Business Development Sales Manager will expand the customer base, create new business opportunities, and provide world class customer service to all clients. This role will be responsible for ultimately increasing market share and managing revenue within Northern Alberta. Key Responsibilities: Hire, coach,

and mentor sales representatives Set goals for the account managers through sales plans Increase sales of existing accounts through promotion of new services Develop Territory Sales Plans that align with operational budgets and goals Develop/improve and implement sales tools and metrics to measure progress of the sales team Work closely with the operational leads in growth development, customer service, and prospecting new clients Collaborate between all departments to organically grow all Lines of Business Lead in the development of sales strategies, specific to the total available market in the region Achieve full support from all business stakeholders in regional sales plan development Lead the development of quotes and bids Monitor and maintain the sales compensation plan Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: 5+ years of experience managing and leading a sales organization Bachelors Degree preferred, or equivalent additional experience Strong financial background in budgeting and forecasting A strong understanding of the Northern Alberta marketplace Contract negotiation skills including quote development and approvals Tender and proposal oversight Technical writing and excellent oral and written communication skills Performance management and tracking for reports and data Ability to work with operational team to develop solutions for clients in a complex environment Ability to motivate team members and work in a team environment while setting clear and measurable objectives Strong understanding of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word & Excel Being a leader in safety to our employees and clients Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel periodically We thank you for your interest.
