We are a growing company, having locations across Canada with our head office located in Winnipeg Manitoba. We are a family-owned holding Company dedicated helping the Canadian automotive industry. We work very hard every day as a Team to make the TED Group the largest and most respected family owned and operated PBE Jobber Business in North America. We are currently looking for a Business Development Representative/Account Manager to join the TED Group team to lead, develop and support our South Vancouver Island region. Purpose: The Business Development Representative/Account Manager is the first point of contact with our customers when they are seeking information on our products and services.

They will be responsible to identify sales leads, pitch the Companys good and services we provide to all customers as well ensure positive respectful relationships are formed with our customers. To excel in this role, you have active listening skills, along with a hunger to chase and close new business. Responsibilities: -Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts for the South Vancouver Island market planning and organizing a daily work schedule. -Generating weekly prospecting calls via phone, email or in person. Developing new opportunities through these calls and updating all information in the Company software system. -Ensure and facilitate proper tracking and record keeping of targets and progress using CRM. -Manager and ensure Customer opportunities and issues are proactively managed through to completion by networking with our various teams members and vendor partners. -Traveling to existing and new accounts on a regular basis to obtain new opportunities and provides technical guidance and expertise to Customers. -Actively promoting and communicating new products, services,

Company promotions and specials to Customers. -Closing sales by building rapport with potential Customer accounts by explaining product, service capabilities, overcoming objections and preparing contracts. -Ensuring your manager is informed of activities by maintaining current documentation and results reports on activities, including daily call reports and weekly work plans. -Monitoring the competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. -Resolving Customer concerns by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management. -Updating technical knowledge by attending technical training that is facilitated by product representatives. -Acting as the technical representative, you may be required to perform product demonstrations,

assist with product training and/or problem solve as required. -Other duties will be assigned as necessary, based on business requirements. Requirements: -Minimum 2 years experience in a progressive outside sales roles -Proven ability to lead and coach -Solutions-oriented -Experience working within the Autobody/Automotive industry -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Strong negotiating skills -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced, dynamic environment -Ability to travel -Ability to work effectively in both a team and independent settings. -Interactions with employees, various management levels, Customers and Vendors professionally. Creating and maintaining positive working relationships. -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
