To support that challenge, the Technology Solutions & Sustainable Agriculture team is currently seeking a Technical Lead. As a Technical Lead Horticulture You Will Focus on technical leadership of the horticulture portfolio during all stages of product lifecycle management (PLCM) Provide technical guidance for new active ingredients, products and uses to meet the commercial needs of the Territory Lead the commercial technical development for new product introductions (NPI); provide technical guidance on performance, positioning and sustainability in fruit, vegetables and potatoes. Provide technical product training and materials to internal/external customers We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Guelph, ON, Calgary, AB or remotely across Canada.

What Will You Do Technically steward products throughout PLCM Develop technical training materials in collaboration with the Agronomic Service Manager for internal/external customers Collaborate with Customer Marketing to develop and implement campaigns that meet grower needs based on agronomic practices. Interface with North American and Global technical community for exchange of technical information and strategies Ensure that product strategies, positioning, claims, labels and communications are supported technically Collaborate with the Agronomic Service Manager to implement appropriate influencer management strategies Co-develop the annual technical plan with the Agronomic Service Manager and commercial teams Lead the implementation of pre-commercial research authorization and demo programs to support grower-scale validation and market prep of technology Qualifications You are someone with: Bachelors degree,

preferably in Agriculture or Science (Masters of Science or PhD preferred) Minimum 5 years experience in the Ag industry Minimum 5 years experience in fruit, vegetables or specialty crops (including potatoes) Broad technical knowledge of the company portfolio, competitive products, as well as current and emerging agricultural practices and trends in the industry Knowledge of the needs of customers to meet new needs and opportunities in the horticulture industry. Broad understanding of product development process, developing protocols and regulatory requirements Broad agronomic knowledge of fruit, vegetable, potato and specialty crop production in Canada. Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
