Next Ride is our test drive program where we engage with the public and offer information and opportunities to test drive Electric Vehicles without the pressure of a sales environment. Nova Scotias Electrify program,

which issues rebates for Electric vehicles and e-bikes to incentivize more EV purchases, is integrated into Next Rides education and engagement role. Summary of Position: Clean will be hiring an Electric Vehicle Engagement Officer to support Next Ride. The responsibilities of this position include scheduling, public outreach and event planning. At events, this role will involve setting up events, ensuring the safety of the event, engaging with the public, offering test drives in Electric Vehicles and taking down the Next Ride booths. As Next Ride grows, the position will also include cultivating new connections and opportunities for the team. Duties and Responsibilities: Promoting EV showcases by educating members of the public about the fun benefits of EV ownership and encouraging them to register for test drives. Helping develop and disseminate content for social media, press releases and the showcase webpage. Working with the Next Ride team to ensure events are delivered efficiently and effectively in key target regions and communities.

Working with the Next Ride team to manage the test drive waitlist. Liaising with community partners to plan and host showcase events. Traveling to and from events and setting up showcase booths around the province. (Some of these events will be occur in the evenings and on weekends; should these hours exceed the 70 hours in the two-week pay period, the Electric Vehicle Engagement Officers will be able to claim the additional hours worked). Learning about EVs and their benefits and being able to speak confidently and knowledgably about them to the general public. Being an engaging and enthusiastic representative of EV showcases for the general public, media and other stakeholders. Supporting the safe and responsible completion of EV test drives. Supporting the measurement and analysis of key event metrics and success indicators. Proactively providing ideas for improvement of the EV events.

Working with Cleans communications staff to ensure that online showcase content is consistently up to date. Maintaining all showcase inventory (tents, tables, tablets, promotional items, etc.). Lead in ensuring proper OH&S; procedures are followed, along with relevant paperwork. Other duties as required. Education and Required Qualifications: Must be a Canadian citizen or legally entitled to work in Canada. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must possess a valid Canadian drivers license and a clean Drivers Abstract from the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be self-motivated, adaptable and able to work independently. Must have an aptitude for safe work practices and the ability to multi-task in a busy work environment. Must be proficient with common office software,

such as Microsoft Office and Outlook. Work experience in EVs and/or low carbon transportation is considered an asset. Experience working in a non-profit organization is an asset.
