To support that challenge, the Marketing Team is currently seeking a Customer Marketing Lead - Horticulture. In this role you will be accountable for the development and implementation of customer targeted strategies, campaigns and tactics at the grower and channel level in support of the horticulture business and broader Must Wins. You will also be a key collaborator with Marketing, Commercial Sales and Key Account Management to drive offer development and customer engagement We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Guelph,ON, or remotely across Ontario. What Will You Do Key liaison between front line salesforce and marketing teams Leading change of the commercial go-to-market approach Understand grower needs and utilize customer segmentation to help deliver a positive experience that enhances loyalty and brand adoption Lead Campaign planning process for horticulture to develop the objectives and strategies to achieve the Must Wins Set direction to the Canadian Horticulture Business to guide positioning, messaging and activities to help achieve the Must Win Battles Interpretation of market dynamics and market intelligence to develop deep understanding of the channel and competition Establish and track agreed-to market share and contribution objectives Key collaborator with Marketing Operations on the tactic implementation plan along with providing market context on materials to support the tactical plans Work with the Program Lead for the development of programs (broad and targeted) Qualifications You are someone with: 4 year degree in the Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing/Communications or related field 5+ years of Strategic Sales and/or Customer Marketing experience within the Agriculture industry In-depth knowledge and understanding of crop protection products Strong customer focus Excellent communications (i.e., PowerPoint, oral and written), interpersonal, negotiating, analytical, problem solving/decision making, teamwork and planning/organizing skills. Knowledge of Canadian agriculture including agronomic, seed and chemical crop protection practices Knowledge of principles of marketing including campaigns,marketing best practice,CRM, KAM, segmentation and long-term valuation Knowledge of communication principles and techniques, knowledge of market dynamics,
