Reporting to the Component Supervisor, this position is responsible to analyze component inventory to ensure component supply can be met. This position directly supports the Component Supervisor in inventory control procedures,

assists in overseeing branch component inventories and makes recommendations to enhance and optimize inventory. This position proactively researches, recommends and implements enhancements to the component inventory levels and ensures proper component inventory coverage. Your new role Liaise with Inventory, Planning and Reman personnel: Work closely with component planner client to ensure inventory is available for all customer demands, and regional support requirements are adjusted. Identify and plan around Reman capabilities/constraints and component availability. Identify bottle necks in the component supply and work to find solutions, while providing Component Supervisor & Component Planner relevant updates. Administering of day to day component inventory control procedures and component inventory support. Assist the parts department and the OEM parts distribution center to ensure timely availability of product. Work with other branches to seek and approve component transfer requests. Approve returns from internal (shop) and external customers. Strong focus on maintaining inventory levels:

Daily review of inventory levels to ensure demands are met and break-ins are supported. Build and maintain relationships with Reman and suppliers to support and service the parts and components sales functions. Liaise with Reman facilities to forecast requirements and ensure parts are always available. Review and monitor rebuild times, costs and repair approvals. Support the reduction of inventory write offs and adjustments. Review surplus inventory through establishing and maintaining ideal min/max/safety stock levels. Ensure inventory levels are accurate and perform regular reconciliations and investigating discrepancies between system levels. Complete seeding and assembling requests to ensure inventory is available through close guidance of CPSG. Maintain stand inventory levels and ensure support levels are available. Record and manage yard,

having a close pulse on component locations (including new stock, consignment, etc) and ensure transfers are completed and received. Work with sublets and business partners to ensure alignment on scheduling. Receive and validate plan from stakeholders on a weekly basis. Track and update component benchmarks and set component forecast. Reporting compilation, analysis, and review: Complete and distribute weekly RCL report. Develop reports, complete analysis, and make recommendations related to the component inventory functions. Analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly component historical data to support the planning and S&OP; functions. Maintain failure data in conjunction with internal reliability teams to develop trends and contingency planning for break-in work and optimize component inventory levels. Review exchange component inventory requirements based upon number of units running,

unit age and expected component life by working with internal resources. Assist in monitoring and actioning key performance indicators (KPI) related to total component inventory value, cycle time, inventory turns, non-turning inventory, obsolescence, reserve value, etc. Support analysis for exit and entry strategies (phase out/in) when machine population changes or there are corporate mandated changes to manufacturer/business partner support. Analyze and recommend medium to long term plans for investment in inventories to support business strategies. Manage weekly core reports Stand management Cummins engine modules - including monthly freight purchase order, preparing and closure of all work orders. Assist with any other duties as required by the Supervisor. What you'll need to succeed Must have highly developed organizational,

communicative (verbal and written), problem resolution, and analytical skills - customer focused mindset is essential. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Understanding of exchange component programs and inventory requirement planning. Understanding of Companys and OEM policies and procedures as they relate to parts and component supply. Strong working knowledge of computers and applicable software (MS Office, eXtend and WMS) Understanding of supply and demand, distribution and inventory management. Highly self-driven and desire for process improvements. This position requires some post-secondary education with 3-5 years related parts and inventory experience. Any combination of education and experience in managing parts and inventory control is desirable Ability to develop, plan,
