Ontario Shores is seeking a Clinical Manager for our Telemedicine and Expert Ambulatory Services reporting to the Administrative Director, Integrated Community Access Program (ICAP) and Patient Flow. The Integrated Community Access Program serves as a central point of access for all in and outpatient services at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. Specialized recovery focused staff provide a range of triage, intake, system navigation; psychotherapy and out-patient services. ICAP offers offer a range of expert services that include assessments, consultations, behavioral support, shared care, group opportunities, eCBT and follow up that can be provided in a traditional office-based setting, in the community or via Telemedicine based on the unique needs of each individual. Your Opportunity to Make a Difference: The successful candidate will function as a member of the ICAP leadership team. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for:

developing and evaluating services; providing leadership for the e-therapy implementation; coordinate and have oversight for therapy based models of care in ICAP; providing leadership and coordinating the interdisciplinary team; managing human resources, including recruitment, career development, and performance management; providing leadership in team planning, development, implementation, and evaluation; assume a lead role in quality improvement initiatives in alignment with the strategic directions of the Centre. You will have financial responsibility for developing and monitoring the budget. In addition, you will be responsible for the identification and development of educational requirements and for providing clinical supervision of members of the clinical team, in collaboration with Practice Leaders. In the role of Clinical Manager, you will provide exemplary clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, apply your well-honed management skills in a unionized setting, support consultation to internal/external stakeholders on all aspects of services,

and continuously ensure that the focus of our services remains achieving excellence in all aspects of our service delivery including quality, strategy and operational efficiency. You must be able to work in a collaborative, open and client-centered approach with patients, families, Community stakeholders and staff of multiple disciplines alike. Ideal Qualifications: Management: Front line clinical management experience demonstrated through four to eight years of progressive experience in a community mental health setting. Mental Health Experience: Three to five years of community mental health service provision; knowledge and/or experience working with individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder preferred. Therapies: Training and experience using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy,

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy preferred; training and experience in group facilitation preferred. People Leadership: Ability to provide exceptional leadership to staff, including mentoring, coaching and to build enthusiastic, high performing staff teams in a unionized work environment. Program and Change Management: Intellectual and analytic ability to manage programs, change management and to effective deal with operational issues in a timely fashion. Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with internal and external stakeholders in an interprofessional team environment. Quality Improvement: Comprehensive knowledge of standards of care, professional standards, best practice, evidence-informed decision making, legislative requirements,

risk management and continuous quality improvement. Financial Management: Ability to manage a budget coupled with the ability to use statistical data to evaluate financial and other improvement activities using evidence-based practices. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to organize and convey information in a compelling way. Continuous Improvement: High levels of intellectual curiosity; actively engaged in both organizational and professional improvement activities/education. Education: A post-secondary degree in a health field (nursing, social work, physio therapy, occupational therapy, psychology) is required as is a designation as a regulated health professional. A masters degree is preferred.
