EHS Partnerships Ltd. (EHSP) has an immediate opening in our Edmonton location for an intermediate safety auditor. This position requires that you are currently an Alberta Association Safety Partnerships (AASP) COR auditor. This is a permanent, full time position.



About Us EHSP is a full-service firm built around professionals and leaders in the field of environmental and occupational health and safety. We are guided by Partners who have been providing OH&S; consulting services throughout North America since 1986.



We help clients keep their employees safe by developing and improving their health and safety management system through technical testing, monitoring, auditing, and training.

Our clients and specific industry experience include all commodities (oil and gas, base metal, and soft rock mining), real estate and facility management, manufacturing of all types, light and heavy construction, transport, education, and service sectors. Position Summary



Working under the direction of EHSPs senior safety specialist and the Partners, the successful candidate will provide health and safety consulting to our clients. Projects will include: Planning and executing safety management system audits for clients across Western Canada and beyond Working with clients to develop or make improvements to their safety management system



Working with clients to develop policies and procedures specific to their needs Other projects may include: Conducting incident investigations at client sites Developing and executing health and safety training as per clients needs Conducting safety compliance inspections at client sites Providing safety oversight at client sites Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on project needs.

Travelling will be required for audits and other site work.



While COVID-19 continues to be a concern, all other work will be completed consistent with the guidance offered by the Certifying Partners and Partner in Injury Reduction. Work from home may be required with the potential for work in the office as needed. Required Skills and Experience



At least 5 years of experience Certification as an Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP) Internal or External Auditor required Certification as external auditor for other certifying partners (e.g., ESC, ACSA, CCSA, AMHSA, etc.) preferred Completion of a university degree preferred Holder of CRSP designation preferred Valid drivers license Excellent verbal and written communication Proven track record of maintaining successful client relationships Proficient with Microsoft Office products, eCompliance,

and AuditSoft Able to travel and work extended hours as required for project needs Strong organizational and time management skills Able to work independently as well as part of a team Benefits Mentoring and coaching from our senior safety leaders Salary range from $40,000 to $80,000 per annum depending on education, qualifications, certifications, and experience.
