Responsibilities and Deliverables Design, deploy, deliver, evolve and own a world Business Development Representative department Initially as a single player, moving to player manager and ultimately looking at strategy and management. Please note, this expansion can only happy once we have gained success and proven out the concept of business development that will complement our existing sales team. Report back to the company around key metrics that demonstrate progress of the new function. Responsible for researching, seeking, qualifying,
nurturing and handing over relevant opportunities to the sales team. Actively grow Upstream Works active universe of relevant contacts that you will aim to convert into qualified opportunities for our sales team and ensure you are maintaining a highly accurate data set within Microsoft Dynamics Drive attendance and awareness of product releases, webinars, trade shows and the like into a relevant and researched marketplace Assist in managing support and subscription renewal programs. Involvement at a qualification to sales handoff points to ensure a smooth transition into our sales team with every client contact Requirements 2+ years experience building relationships and qualifying opportunities to end user customers and VAR/ SI/ Consulting partners,
within enterprise software preferably within the contact centre industry The ideal candidate will have set up a business development capability within a previous role Highly organized with ability to multitask, prioritize time while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills across a broad range of industries dealing with a global market A good understanding of analyzing data A good understanding sales and marketing automation tools The ideal candidate would be proficient in both Salesloft and Microsoft Dynamics and be capable of both designing campaigns and concepting new messaging Strong background in contact centre software Ideally enterprise omnichannel and integration software would vastly shorten your time to effectiveness within this role. Experience in the contact center industry is a huge advantage Ideally located within an easy commute of our HQ (North Toronto, Canada)
