Wesdome Gold Mines has had over 30 years of continuous gold mining operations in Canada. The Company is 100% Canadian focused with a pipeline of projects in various stages of development. The Companys strategy is to build Canadas next intermediate gold producer, producing 200,000+ ounces from two mines in Ontario and Quebec. The Eagle River Complex in Wawa, Ontario is currently producing gold from the Eagle River Underground Mine. Wesdome is actively exploring its brownfields asset, the Kiena Complex in Val dOr, Quebec. The Kiena Complex is a fully permitted former mine with a 930-metre shaft and 2,000 tonne-per-day mill. The Company trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol WDO.

Responsibilities/Job Duties Performed Reporting to the Asset Management and Reliability Manager, the Site Services Superintendent will be an inspirational leader responsible and accountable for the overall management of people, safety, partnerships, and costs associated with the site services, camp services and surface infrastructure maintenance. This position will direct tactical and strategic infrastructure plans ensuring that departmental performance is executed in a safe and efficient manner. A key focus is to ensure best practices so that the safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity of work are assured. This role participates in the development and delivery of the site's business plan. Support and maintain Safety Program that enables a continuous process of identifying and managing hazards/risks, monitoring compliance and engaging employees in risk management. Coach and mentor, your team to develop individuals to their full potential in their career progression and growth.

Implement succession plans for key employees. Lead and manage surface maintenance and camp services teams consisting of Wesdome supervision, hourly employees, and contractors who are involved in maintenance and operation of surface facilities, roads, yards, parking, sewage treatment, water treatment and Tailings Management Area (TMA). Responsible for oversight of surface ore and waste haulage, kitchen and custodial services, and capital projects related to site services in accordance with ERMs business strategy, and objectives. Provide leadership to the Site Services team to provide effective camp services and maintenance activities throughout the site. Manage resources to maintain and enhance critical equipment performance and availability. Analyze operational performance, identifying trends for proactive response and potential cost savings.

Implement actions to optimize maintenance process performance and attain efficiency targets in the areas of labour productivity, equipment utilization, and material consumption. Act as Owners representative for all phases of a projects life cycle (i.e. concept to closure) related to site services capital projects (i.e. water treatment systems, building refurbishments, etc.). Elicit safety, health, and risk awareness always and ensure adherence to zero harm standards. Comply with federal and provincial acts, regulations, and legal requirements, and adhere to company policies and procedures. Collaborate across departments including Operations, Mine Engineering, Geology, Mobile & Fixed Plant Maintenance, Electrical & Instrumentation, Mill, Health-Safety & Training, Environment, Human Resources,

and Finance to achieve continuous improvement and business objectives. Participate in setting the direction and establishing the short to mid term infrastructure plans in cooperation with other departments. Collaborate and work with consultants and contractors to ensure safe work practices and infrastructure plans are achieved. Drive best practice in Asset Management across a diverse range of equipment types. Champion and implement our six-sigma continuous improvement program, in particular 5S and 7W techniques, and foster a continuous improvement culture in all areas of the department. Develop and manage yearly operating budgets for the department; and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements.

Ensure that the JH≻ is informed of any changes that occur on surface or within the department and comply with all JH≻ requests to enable them to perform their duties as described in the Act. Ensure JH≻, and employee safety concerns are acknowledged and addressed in a timely manner. Manage employee schedules, salaries, and vacation requests. Ensure employees have the tools, procedures, and systems in place to work safely and efficiently. Promote the principle of ownership, accountability, and mutual respect to the workforce and supervision. Keep employees informed of issues that affect them, ensuring two-way communication. Manage key items in Wesdomes management systems such as SAP. Produce accurate Month End Reports reflecting KPIs and projects status. Promote and adhere to Wesdomes Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance policies. Support Emergency Response Program. Excellent leadership and management abilities to motivate, lead, organize and manage direct reports in a manner that builds a positive culture for the department and organization. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within and across departments and the organization. Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Civil), Engineering Diploma, or relevant Trades designation with ten (10) years related experience, preferably in Mining or Construction is an asset. Five (5) years relevant operations experience in the mining industry in a supervisory capacity. Experience related to project management is an asset. Experienced in the preparation, management, and execution of operational budgets. Ability to take ownership of the work and have strong work ethic.

Exemplary knowledge of construction methods, and utilities is an asset. Strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Act and associated legislation. Demonstrated leadership competencies with strong communication skills. Effective communication (verbal and written) skills that is positive and engaging. Strong business acumen and proficient computer literacy. Ability to influence and inspire others and manage cross-functional relationships. Work Conditions This position is located at our Eagle River Mine location near Wawa, ON. In this role, you will work a 4-3 or 7-7 schedule and therefore you will be accommodated in our camp with all the amenities.
