The Economic Opportunities Navigation Division serves as the single point of contact for Invest Manitoba and is responsible for providing concierge services for medium to large scale foreign direct investment, business expansion, or trade opportunities. - Post-secondary education, preferably at the graduate level, or an equivalent combination of equivalent education and experience

- Experience developing and interpreting labour market information and data

- Experience in an economic development role, including planning and implementing economic development strategies

- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives for the purpose of decision-making

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders by building rapport and resolving conflict as required

- Strong problem solving and decision making skills

- Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting and reviewing briefing materials, reports and authority seeking documents

- Effective judgement and discretion with the ability to manage confidential and politically sensitive material in an appropriate manner
