Position Overview/Description:

Big Country Drilling is looking for a qualified professional to join our team as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for 32 hours per week (average). Reporting to the Office Manager, this position is responsible for but not limited to, reception (answering phones), mail, administrative, and office clerical functions.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

- Responsible for answering and directing all calls and monitoring general voice mail.

- Greet clients/vendors/visitors arriving in the office in a professional and courteous manner and direct to the appropriate person.

- Ensure incoming and outgoing mail is processed and distributed to the organization daily.

- Filing, photocopying,

and other administrative tasks as required.

- Coordinating maintenance and repairs of office equipment including photocopiers, cell phones, computer equipment, and office phone system.

- Manage office vendors/suppliers.

- Assist with management and employee expense accounts, payroll deduction, and reimbursement forms.

- Manage and track all technology for the field staff (cell phones & computers).

- Plan, organize and coordinate Company events and meetings.

- Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations for senior management.

- Keep office kitchen and staff room clean and stocked daily.

- Keep office storage room stocked, organized and clean.

- Responsible for coordinating the purchase of office supplies and maintaining inventory.

- Schedule and coordinate meeting room bookings

- Update Corporate Directory (office location, phone, fax, and cell phone) for contractors/employees.

- Assist with the coordination of travel arrangements for field staff and management.

- Implement and maintain office systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

- Must be friendly and enjoy interacting with people.

- Mature, professional, and reliable

- Excellent telephone skills and written and oral communication.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Flexible and able to perform multiple tasks

- Ability to work independently and in a team

Expected start date: 2021-12-01

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22,500.00-$27,000.00 per year
