Applications are invited for a Sessional Instructor position in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for the Winter 2022 courses in the DVM program.
UCVM's DVM program combines a comprehensive general veterinary education with enhanced opportunities in selected areas. The integrated core-elective curriculum combines discipline-based courses with extensive on-campus and off-campus practical learning. UCVM uses a distributed veterinary learning community including public and private practice partners to deliver its fourth-year practicum program. This sessional faculty position is in the following areas:
Porcine medicine, surgery, theriogenology and clinical skills
Willingness and ability to travel to participate in teaching experiences is required, with teaching taking place in person at the Foothills Campus and Spy Hill Campus. The teaching assignment is approximately 0.4 half course equivalents.
Qualifications include a DVM degree, with appropriate expertise in the designated area. Appropriate expertise may include an advanced degree, board certification, or equivalent clinical experience in the designated area.
