Department Overview

The Marketing Technology, Analytics & Insights team mission is to be influential change agents and consumer advocates to help deliver the better bank and to drive shareholder return through optimizing the impact of Marketing.

We do this by delivering The group seeks to deliver excellence in analytics and insights to support short-term business success as well as long-term strategy of the bank. Our team brings together a diverse range of technical and business expertise including market research, business analytics, data science and modelling, business intelligence, data strategy and governance, data management, campaign targeting and delivery, and visualization.

Marketing Technology and Business Application Ownership at TD is part of an enterprise-wide data and analytics ecosystem. Using technology, business capabilities, and application knowledge, the ideal candidate will work in close partnership within Marketing teams and across corporate functions to understand and help direct Marketing Technology ecosystem needs, priorities and influence long-term strategy.

We're looking for highly experienced Marketing Technology professionals, just like you, who can take business ownership of the applications and strategy around the overall MarTech stack as we deliver on our data strategy and roadmap. Our ideal candidate is capable and collaborative senior people manager ready to lead, optimize and grow a team of business capability experts with a passion for technology that enables Marketing to deliver the most relevant message to the right customer in the right channel at the right time.

Job Description

We're looking for a confident, capable Marketing Technology specialist ready to own, optimize and grow a set of Marketing Technology capabilities and supporting applications in support of revenue generation, personalization and customer experience.

As a Manager, MarTech Application Owner you will:

- Own a portfolio of Marketing capabilities and associated platforms in an area of moderate risk, complexity and scope to support project/initiative success and achieve business results

- Provide Marketing Technology subject matter expertise and serve as a first point of contact in understanding platform use, feature roadmap, and internal strategy

- Own and maintain three-year roadmaps to establish vision, clarity and strategic alignment with business users and teams responsible with monetizing capabilities

- Own the deployment and change requirements for initiatives and projects spanning across all project tiers

- As a strong team player and collaborator, work with other platform owners to provide feedback into a unified martech stack strategy across all capabilities

- Well-rounded business lead and functional application business expert, ready to lead and execute on strategies, roadmaps and forecasts while managing and growing relationships with technology, vendors, business colleagues and key business application partners.


What can you bring to TD?Share your most relevant experience, credentials and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:

- Seven (7) or more years relevant experience

- Practical knowledge of key MarTech ecosystem components as well as current and emerging competitor and market trends

- Knowledge of Google ecosystem strongly preferred (GA, BQ, SA, DV) and understanding of the data and integration requirements for DSPs.

- Ability to work multi-functionally and communicate professionally (both speaking and writing) and establish positive working relationships across multiple business and technology partners, programs and project managers

- Act as a brand ambassador for your team, business area / function and TD, internally and externally
